It Ain't So Little

I took another trip to Descanso Gardens today and this time I just went ahead and paid for membership. I find something different or interesting each time I go and it such a nice place to spend a few hours. I raced home though to post these because this was my top pick of the photos I got today.


This thing was huge! I've never seen a spider this big and I was grossed out and fascinated at the same time. I've come a long way with my spider thing to get this close to one nestled between the branches of a big rose bush. The body, no lie, was about the size of my thumb from the knuckle to the base.





I don't think it was spider. I think it was a crab out of its environment. :-)
