My World Tuesday #3 - Olvera Street

My World Tuesday is a new meme hosted by Klaus, Ivar, Wren, Fishing Guy Tom over at Show Your World. Today I decided to share Olvera Street. Olvera Street is located in downtown Los Angeles directly across from Union Station the train station.

Olvera Street has been there for as long as I can remember and anyone who works downtown and loves Mexican food has been there and probably tries to get there for lunch for authentic Mexican food.

There is plenty of shopping. Though most are authentic Mexican wares and you think you might not find anything to buy outside of souvenirs, you can find wonderful leather bags at wonderful prices and leather sandals. Maybe you'll even find some pottery or any one of many other beautiful Mexican crafts.

And then there is the entertainment.

SANTA MONICA PIER & VENICE BEACH

I decided to head out to the pier yesterday. I heard it was going to be a little cloudy and the waves were supposed to be 7-10 feet. I thought, great! That should make for some interesting photos. Well, it wasn't cloudy and the waves weren't that tall but I still got some great pics. You can see some of them at my other blog Down Around L.A..
