L.A. In The Distance

I took these shots from the road that goes around the back of Bonelli Park over by the entrance to Raging Waters. There was a beautiful sunset that night and I'd been looking for some place to take a shot of downtown Los Angeles in the distance. It was a clear day because many days you can't see it because of the smog. When it's like this I'm reminded of The Emerald City and most of us are trying to get there (to work).

I love the clear orangish colors in this sky! And of course the photos go perfect w/ bony James playing in the background - one of my faves!!

Your smooth jazz fits these scenes so well but why it says "Aint No Sunshine"? There is plenty of shine to me.

Those are neat photos.

Wow, if that's a shot without smog -- and it would appear that there is still some out there, I wonder what it would be like with a normal day of smog. That would be a good photopoint comparison even if the latter is all blur.
