Never Too Old

In case you're looking, my Watery Wednesday shot is below this one.

It would not be living near Los Angeles if you didn't go somewhere and occasionally see a film crew filming a movie. I went to Descansco Gardens yesterday and there was a film crew there. I must admit it is really interesting to see what they go through just to make a movie.

I also notice a swing hanging from a tree and knew it must be part of whatever they were filming since it was never there before. I thought it made an interesting shot and then a little later I saw one of the film crew get in the swing and start swinging. I figure he was testing it out but then again, maybe it just shows you're never too old to find fun in taking a little swing from a tree.

I like the shot of the swing alone and yet the crew member makes a sweet shot too!

Hope you find out what movie so you can say I have a picture of that scene. :)

That looks fun: it's one of life's simple pleasures, but also one of it's under-rated ones. And by the way, the same thing happened with my Watery Wednesday post: several participants commented on my "one day later" post. Of course it's confusion with my blog because almost every post has something to do with water. I should have called it "Watery Weeklie!"

You must have had a nice time watching the film making. I really like the b&w shots of the 'swinger'.

That's hilarious - he just hopped on for a swing?! hehehe

Excellent shots too - especially of the swing w/ that sideways tree & the green green grass!

I would happily take a turn on that swing! The setting is beautiful and as you said, you're never too old for a good swing.

I love the swing - it looks inviting. It's cool that you get to see film crews at work.

Wish that was me in the swing. No matter how old you are it always makes you feel free & young.

It´s a tough job but someones got to do it.

The swing seems to be strung pretty high which means you could really reach high while swinging. The shot of the the swing alone is amazing.

Great shots TB. I have to agree on the "never being too old to enjoy things". Where in the rule book does it say you must stop doing things just because you are a certain age?? :)

I like the delicate colour in the first one of the guy swinging. Reminds me of some of the photos my parents have, where the colour was painted onto the photo.

What gorgeous colors. I live in OC and forget how beautiful the scenery is, until I see a photo like yours. Thanks.

They film a lot in my neighborhood and I see that it is time consuming and a lot of work.

I love the photo of the swing and tree.

I love what you've done with the photo of the man on the swing. I still haven't been able to play around with the colors in the photo as you did here but thanks to you, I have the instructions and can't wait to try it out. I know it will be fun.
