Independence Day

Today, July 4th, is Independence Day (or 4th of July), in the United States. It is a national holiday commemorating the Declaration of Independence adopted July 4, 1776 and our independence from England. We celebrate with family and friends with picnics, barbecues, fireworks, parades, etc. Happy 4th of July to all Americans and sending up a special prayer for our service men and women wherever they may be.

4th of July Comments

These are just a few of my fireworks shots from last year. I'll be at my brothers and probably won't get a chance to take any shots like this this year. Oh well.

I hope you enjoyed the 4th! We were supposed to go to the Rose Bowl, but it was hot and to be out there from 3 pm until the fireworks, was too taxing for us. We were at the Hollywood Bowl two years ago.

Oh, BTW, Old Temecula is really cool. I did some research before we explored and I still have quite a few photos to post. I hope you can visit.
