My World Tuesday - Exposition Park

Exposition Park is located directly across from U.S.C., the University of Southern Calfornia. It's so large I didn't get photos of everything and couldn't post some of my best shots, just too many. But I wanted to show the basics of my world here.

This first shot is of the walk-way between the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum/center. To the left past, unseen, is the famous rose garden which had been pruned so I didn't take any photos.

I took the shot above. The back of the science center is past the construction on the right. They're expanding. Past the Science Center is the African American Museum. After I took this picture I turned around and took the one below. That should give you a little perspective.

If you walk directly through the science center you come out of the back entrance which looks like the photos below. The building on the left is the IMAX Theatre.

Part of Exposition Park is also the home of the Los Angelem Memorial Coliseum and the Sports Arena (not pictured). Events were held here when L.A. hosted the Olympics and the Sports Arena used to be the home of the Lakers before they moved to the Forum and then later to the Staples Center. The Coliseum hosts all of the home football games for the U.S.C. Trojans. Go Trojans! :-)
