Silverback Gorilla

The western lowland gorilla's population has declined by 60 per cent over the last 20-25 years due to hunting and disease, mostly ebola. They're considered to be endangered. The adult male's back begins to turn gray at about 10-12 years of age signifying it's maturity and strength, hence the name silverback gorilla. It was a good day at the zoo for taking photos. Most times that I've been they were in hiding.

I've Been Blocked

The picture below is pretty much how I feel about right now. There was someone whose blogs I really enjoyed and followed on the dashboard. Of late I haven't been able to view any of the blogs. I kept getting a blogger error page saying the blogs had been removed but I would see this person comment on other blogs and their new posts kept popping up under "Follow" on my dashboard. It took me a minute to realize that this person must have blocked me. I thought, "Wow". I've never left any comments that were negative, but here I am - blocked. I know I shouldn't let it bother me but I have to admit that it does. It makes me think that maybe I should just view and not leave any comments. Maybe I should keep my comments to a minimum. Maybe I should remove my picture from my profile and make this impersonal. I'll get over it but I sit here wondering what did to make this person block me? My apologies to anyone if I've ever offended, said too much or did anything that even made you consider blocking me from even viewing your blog. It may take me a while to feel comfortable leaving comments again.
