Ginger Plant

If I've identified this correctly, this is a Ginger Plant. I've seen it before but didn't know what it was. This was in a floral display in the Home and Garden section at the L.A. County Fair.

Hibiscus - Today's Flower #5

I've seen many hibiscus in my day but I've never seen any quite this color before, especially the one that I'm not sure if it's grey or lavender.
