A Day At The Beach

I couldn't get over what an absolutely beautiful day it was today. There was no smog for a change, the sky was perfectly blue, not a cloud in the sky and it was about 80 degrees. Wow! What a day. Perfect day to let my toes feel the sand beneath my feet. Ladies, sand is nature's natural pumice for the soles of your feet (smile).

It was a perfect day. Even traffic was great! The only thing missing was a lack of sea shells and I still haven't seen any beach glass.

Sky Watch Friday #3

Same sky from two different locations. In the first one you can actually see the waves of the ocean. I thought it was pretty cool looking down at the clouds.

Poison Dart Frogs

I don't know why I had the most difficult time getting a picture of these two little things. My camera just did not want to focus on them. I started to wonder if they had some kind of biomagnetic aura that was throwing off my camera. LOL! But I finally got a couple of shots even though they're not as clear as I would have liked.

They're teeny tiny. Look at your thumb now imagine these things are half the size of your thumb.

MORE FISHY STUFF

I haven't posted anything in a while. I haven't been anywhere to take pictures so I'll continue with some pictures from the Long Beach Aquarium. They're not perfect but I think they're worth sharing.

This is, let me see if I can remember what it was... a leafy seahorse? No, a Leafy Sea Dragon.

And... a starfish that was plastered against the window allowing perfect viewing of it's belly:

This sea turtle was as long as I was tall swimming back and forth across the huge tank:

I lucked up and was right on time to see a diver in one of the huge tanks. One of the guides in the crowd was actually carrying on a conversation with her. I wasn't paying any attention to what they were talking about (smile):
