Ladybugs have always been the one insect I actually like. When they did all of that malathion spraying out here a while back to attack the dreadful little flies that were causing so much havoc, we lost a lot of garden visitors. I had not seen lady bugs in a while so when I see one now I'm like a kid again.

Kewl! But you don't like Butterflies? Damselflies? Dragonflies? :)
Cheers, Klaus
I love them too, and once spent hours rescuing hundreds of them from inside our screened porch! My husband thought I was being kooky, but I like that they eat aphids and other pests!
The Ladybug photos are lovely. I had published a post earlier this week showing a couple of different ladybugs with different spot patterns on each and a few people commented on not having known some looked different from each other. I like yours with no spots.
nature tales and camera trails
Klaus - I forgot those are considered insects aren't they. Still, I don't get those in my yard. :-(
Jayne - I can imagine what that must have looked like collecting all of those tiny little things.
:-)
Me Ann My Camera - I have to go find that post of yours. Its funny, when I was looking at my picture I thought... aren't they supposed to have spots. :-D
wow! lucky to have seen that cute little beetle.
Beautiful ladybug and pictures of them!! They can be so difficult to photograph sometimes.
The Dong & Saphotographs - This one actually stayed still for me. The last couple I tried to take just took off. Guess they were camera shy. :-)
