Butterflies - SDWAP

These are butterflies from the butterfly exhibit at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. I can't get over how many photos I took and not just of the butterflies. Personally, I can't wait to go back again. I could stay there all day...

The Spider Cave

ALWAYS A LADY

Ladybugs have always been the one insect I actually like. When they did all of that malathion spraying out here a while back to attack the dreadful little flies that were causing so much havoc, we lost a lot of garden visitors. I had not seen lady bugs in a while so when I see one now I'm like a kid again.

ON ITS LAST LEG

This poor little bee was just outside my sliding glass door limping along on it's last leg. It even looks like it's been around the block a time or two. In the second photo it even looks like there is something wrong with its eye (if it's called an eye).
