The first time I went to the zoo the alligator they had was so close to the fence that I couldn't get a good picture without the fence being in the picture. This time the alligator was across the pond just sitting there. When I looked at the pics I thought, wow, it doesn't even look real. It could be a fake alligator and no one would ever know. Doesn't it look fake?

That fixed smile on its face makes you kinda wonder doesn't it? Neat picture though (real or not real?)and I would think alligators are always best photographed at a distance!!
thank you for your visit to mine.
LOL! I agree that they're best photographed from a distance.
:-) And you're welcome. I enjoying visiting your blog.
LOL! You got yourself a cute one! :)
Sometimes they sit at one pose and position for an entire day, and don't move a muscle! I love 'em anyway!
Cheers, Klaus
Klaus - LOL! I guess it is kind of cute it its own way. :-)
Yep, that's one critter I'd prefer to keep its distance from me -- and vice versa. You did a great job capturing that toothsome grin.

Bobbie - Thank you. That's one I wouldn't want to get near either. :-)

Yep, it's as if you know in a moment he will spin and attack! Great shots!
Jayne - Thank you. I was hoping it might turn its head toward me just a little. :-)
