The next one is a heron. I know there are different kinds but I think this is a Great Blue Heron. I took this on my foggy morning at the lake at it was just sitting there near the edge of the lake on the branch.
The next two I took at the Huntington Library & Botanical Gardens and it looks like a picture of an Acorn Woodpecker so that's what I'm calling it (smile).
And I could be wrong about this one but I think it's a yellow warbler.
And this was, I think, the most interesting bird in the tree that I've seen. It's called Dead Bird. First it took me a minute to realize that it was a bird, then another minute to realize it was a dead bird and I stood there for a while wondering what happened to it that it would die like that, up in a tree and wind up just hanging there.

Wonderful photos! One day, with the Lord's help I'll take a decent photo of a bird!
The Heron photo with the reflection in the water is amazing!! A very nice photo capture, as are the others as well.
birds are always sweet to look at.
wow!! awesome!!!
Truely artistic shots
Beautiful
I also know where there is a dead bird, but we are avoiding it, because it is in the half-eaten and ready for rolling stage. Canada goose, likely exsanguination. Yours is, if I can say it, better looking.
But I love the heron!
Thanks for sharing!
