Maybe Next Time

I managed to capture a few birds my last time out. I know the first one is a California Thrasher and I think the third one is a Black Phoebe but I have no idea what the others are. The shots aren't perfect but they're not bad either. I've learned that if I'm patient and wait without moving around a lot they may come out of hiding.

I saw my first colorful bird but it simply would not come out from behind the leaves of the tree it was in. This is really a bad shot in more ways than one but I wanted to post it anyway and let you play Where's The Bird? Can you find the bird in the picture below? LOL!

Maybe next time it will come out and not tease me again.

Ha! You're getting good at this! :)
And yep - patience it is! For almost all animals alike. Good post!
Cheers, Klaus

The second one is an American Robin, but the sly one in the last photo... hmmm.... maybe a Yellow Warbler? Love that shot of the Phoebe!

Hi,
Great shots of these birds! Birds, Butterflies and Flowers are some of my favorite things to photograph.

You go girl...birds are hard, and you're getting good.

I love that Thrasher! I haven't seen any since spring. I won't make any real guesses on western birds, but I think the second looks like a robin of some sort. No idea on that yellow one...but would like to know!

Beautiful photos and birds. You've captured them nicely. I don't know too much on my bird, never seen a thrasher before with that curved beak. Reminds me of the ones I have seen in photos from Hawaii.

I loved all of these - good lighting especially in the 1st photo!

These are good. My camera won't zoom close enough to capture birds.

I think they are really nice shots. The second one could go for a painting.

The 1st 3 are great, especially like the Thrasher. Sometimes the best we can get is like your last one.
