Sigh! I didn't escape this time. I got picked for a 3 week trial. 3 WEEKS!!! Why aren't I one of those people they don't want on the jury. Must be my honest face. LOL! I always complain but I usually wind up finding the whole thing very interesting. Can't talk about it until it's over but in 3 weeks I may spill all.
:-D

I was picked years ago - the week I started my new teaching job. They were understanding, thankfully.
We were there for a week - couldn't agree on a verdict - and it ended in a mistrial. Aargh! Waste of time!
:) hehe
Girl, I will be here to hear/read what happens in three weeks. I love stuff like that!!!! Will be praying for you, those decisions about someone's life can be tough to make. Prayers and Peace.
Just be glad you weren't on OJ Simpson's jury!
Hope it's an interesting trial at least!
Rosemarie - I was on one that ended in a hung jury once. I wouldn't call it a waste of time since I didn't have to be at work.
:-D
Darla - I'm so ready to start talking now... but I can't. LOL!
June - LOL! You're right about that! :-)
Shellmo - Well, I didn't almost fall asleep today so that says something. :-D
LOL! Don't worry, the three weeks will go by fast before you know it. ;-)

Paz - I sure hope so! :-)
Ya know what. I was picked too, when I first moved to Canada!
I had to tell them i wasn't allowed since i wasn't a citizen :-)
Good luck on yours, try not to get too bored :-)
Nick S - Thank you. I'll try.
:-D
Oh my! THREE weeks? I can only hope I don't get picked for a long trial as I have so many arrangements I have to make for Sam. Can't wait to hear about the experience.
Well, I once could have used Nick's excuse but no longer having just passed my citizenship test. A friend of mine when she passed hers was called up for jury duty not too long after. Should be very intersting for you. Good luck!
