Sky Watch #13 - Loop-di-Loo

The last time I went out to the beach I happened to look up and there was this one little plane trying to make loops from the plane's exhaust (or whatever it is). Or who knows, maybe it was an amateur's attempt to write someone's name in the sky. Unfortunately, the smoke disappeared so fast if he/she was trying to do that it evaporated before they could do the next letter.

Great series for Skywatch. That last one looks as though the pilot did manage to do a loop-di-loop.

Lovely patterns and a beautiful blue sky.

Don't see these as much as I used to...as a kid I'd see them all the time. I guess now-days, it's a pretty expensive way to send a message!

who ever is flying that plane is having some fun or engine trouble? uhoh I hope not! Great shot and nice capture! Mine is about HongKong skies, I hope you visit mine :)

Sometimes the act of writing is more important than the message. Let's hope the pilot wasn't getting paid by the word.

Lovely colours and the shape of the smoke stream in the sky!

Cool shots. These are the types of opportunities that I often miss because the camera is not ready, the card is full etc.

Its cool that you were able to capture it. It would have been cool to see what they were trying to spell if they in fact were trying.

Have a great weekend!

Very cool photos! They say practise makes perfect, your sign-writer was getting a lot of it. I think I will stick to pen and paper but I suspect he/she is having much more fun with his writing :)))
