The last time I went out to the beach I happened to look up and there was this one little plane trying to make loops from the plane's exhaust (or whatever it is). Or who knows, maybe it was an amateur's attempt to write someone's name in the sky. Unfortunately, the smoke disappeared so fast if he/she was trying to do that it evaporated before they could do the next letter.

Perfect series.
I love the wonderful simplicity of the design in the sky. Happy skywatch!

... but the effect looks great!
Have a nice weekend!
Well, at least that last picture looks like a good loop to me :P
Happy Skywatching! :)
I loved watching those planes when I was a kid and I love watching them now. Great pics.
Ha! I must be hard work sky writing in extremely dry conditions.
Happy Sky Watch!
Love the last one - it's quite a loop!
Great capture.
A long time since I've seen skywriting! Thanks for sharing these neat shots!
LOL! Love these shots!
Paz
Sky writing is a hard work.
Lovely series and Happy SW Friday!
Those are good skywatch photos.
Maybe he was trying to propose to someone? Very nice captures for SWF!
Great series for Skywatch. That last one looks as though the pilot did manage to do a loop-di-loop.
Very nice series. :)
Lovely patterns and a beautiful blue sky.
Don't see these as much as I used to...as a kid I'd see them all the time. I guess now-days, it's a pretty expensive way to send a message!
Now those are neat pics.
who ever is flying that plane is having some fun or engine trouble? uhoh I hope not! Great shot and nice capture! Mine is about HongKong skies, I hope you visit mine :)
Sometimes the act of writing is more important than the message. Let's hope the pilot wasn't getting paid by the word.
I look at your photos and makes me think of the beach...Great photos!
what a lucky capture! the story makes it even more interesting.
Lovely colours and the shape of the smoke stream in the sky!
Cool shots. These are the types of opportunities that I often miss because the camera is not ready, the card is full etc.
Its cool that you were able to capture it. It would have been cool to see what they were trying to spell if they in fact were trying.
Have a great weekend!
Nicely captured.
Fun in a pure, blue sky.
Neato - that's a really cool Sky Watch post! Creative idea!
I think it's called the "afterburn" - isn't it? Anyone? Anyone?
These are great. What a fun & enjoyable collection of images. Great post!
You have shown the transition of your wonderful shots! Most of all, I LOOOOOOOOOOVE the last one! very loopy!
Hope everything's fine there! It's very rainy here in the Philippines!
Mabuhay and God Bless you!
Steven^^
Very cool photos! They say practise makes perfect, your sign-writer was getting a lot of it. I think I will stick to pen and paper but I suspect he/she is having much more fun with his writing :)))
is that the skywatch version of the breast cancer awareness pin? very nice.
I love a little humour in an image. Brilliant.
What a fun SWF post! I love it. I've never seen this, and I look at skies a LOT. You are so lucky! Thanks for some great photos.
Very loopy post, but fun.
Looks like a large E.
Nice to see something different for skywatch! Very nice loop....better than I do with a pen :-)
