Though this is a succulent plant, because it actually flowers and is called a rosette succulent, I thought it would be an interesting Today's Flower.

Interesting and very original :)
Very interesting flower :)
The petals look pretty much like apple peels.
Have a good week ahead!!
I'll echo other commenters...very interesting! I don't think we have this here in the east...at least I've never seen one.
I've never seen one, and it is lovely!
It's a lovely flower, one that I do not see here locally (New Jersey). Beautiful photos.
Interesting and pretty. I, too, have some. MB
T: My, that looks like Hen & Chicks on a stick. I love it. I used to have them in the flower garden but my wife never liked them on the ground.
This actually looks like what we call Aloes. I wonder if it is the same thing?
What an interesting looking plant. Thanks for sharing it , great pictures.
I really like the last shot! The light you got on all of these is great. I think the color of this flower is really pretty.
I love these! They are the only plants I don't kill :o)
Hi there, always enjoy visiting your corner. Wow! Thanks for sharing these; what an interesting plant. I see why it has that name. Does it have this color all the time?
I came to your site by way of Mike Fenney's and wow, what a gem of superb pictures. I am only but on the most recent photos and now going to venture all the way to the beginning. Truly wonderful photography. Maria U
