I'm with Aileni. These are superb! I love the tonal range in the second shot. The bird (whatever it is) almost appears to have fur rather than feathers. And the drop/ripple combination in the first is... flawless. (Plus the expression on the duck/goose/swan's face is priceless.)

Two really excellent pictures. The droplets are well caught and the composition with the crane/egret(?)
is superlative.

I love them! Sometimes in all the wonderful color we are able to get with out glitzy equipment, we forget the simple beauty of line and form.
That first shot is a ten for sure...right down to the little drops of water falling from his beak!
Just wonderful, that first one is top grade!
These are truly lovely shots. Birds in mono do have a special quality
Water birds - just about perfect subjects for monochrome maniacs. The big bird - a great blue heron? Near cousin if not.
again pensive
great job
Great shots and composition. Which lake were you at?
Wow, amazing shots!
Great photos

Those birds are fantastic.First one is my favorite. The frame you chose, the angle, drops, all these details attract the attention.
