Today's Flower #14

I hope I haven't posted these already. In case you can't tell (smile), the first one is a rose. The second and third are camelias.

I love these B&W shots of the flowers. They look more delicate and very priceless :)
Have a good week ahead.

Oh my, these are gorgeous. Black and white shots do add an elegant quality to a photo. Makes me want to try some myself. Great job!

Beautiful!
Though I have to admit, that I would like to see them in color, too! ;)

I love the effects of the black and white on these flowers - makes the petals seem even softer.

Hi there! These are absolutely lovely b/w closeups. I love to photograph nature.
I'll have to check out the rules to see if flowers that are not in bloom in my area can be used, meaning past photos?

It's wonderful to have found another photography site. I'm here from Carletta's site, I think. (I lost track of which blogs I clicked on.) :)

What a big surprise to see these beautiful flowers in black and white. Pretty!

The B/W images clearly brings out the textures. The sheer power of color in this flowers would have distracted the viewer from the textures...nicely done...Thomas

T&S beat me to the punch...that they have no color lets the textures and form stand out...something good for me to remember!

Great shots, they almost look like they were done with infrared.

T: I agree with Klaus, the shapes are nice but let's see some color.

Great flower shots! They're really beautiful even with just black and white, how much more if they're colored?

I'm surprised at how clearly the beauty and essence of the flowers comes through in the b&w photos. I wouldn't have expected that. Congratulations on lovely photos.
