Huntington Library, Art Gallery & Botanical Gardens

I've shown you the garden part of the Huntington Library & Botanical Gardens. Here are few pics of some of the items inside what was once the home of Mr. & Mrs. Huntington. The flowers in the post below were taken just outside this building in one of the gardens.

I'm always in awe when I see houses like this...both because of their architectural magnificence and too because I can't imagine living in something that mammoth and that formal.

June - I agree with you. Walking through this place I could put myself right in the middle of a Victorian romance novel.

Darla - No, I can't imagine living there. What would I do with all of that room!

Mary - It was wonderful! I wish I could have posted more pics.

EG Tour Guide - I think it's just too big for me. :-)

I remember being impressed by the Huntington Library, and gardens, when I was a teenager. Definately expresses a different kind of living.

Glad you got rain, that ladies' feet would be wet for sure. Big Bear will also be happy about the snow, as long as it doesn't melt in a hurry.
