A Few Little Birdies

I got out today, took my 3 hour walk around the L.A. Country Arboretum and actually found a few birds to take some photos of. They're not the best shots but I still wanted to share them. I didn't look the names up this time so I really don't know what they are. I even saw a woodpecker but none of the shots came out. :-(

The last photo was my fave. Those yellow leafs in the background make it so complete.

The little bird with Yellow on him, is an Audubons race of the Yellow-rumped Warbler :-)

Wonderful pictures of all the birds. They are hard to take pictures since they move so fast.

Beautiful! I'd say 2 are warblers, but I'm terrible about knowing which is what. that last shot has great colors.

Don't you LOVE the arboretum? I grew up a block away from the small lagoon entrance! My bus stop was at the corner on the back of the arboretum, at Old Ranch Road! It's a GREAT place for taking pics! Beautiful bird pics. I'm going to have to work on that!

Nice collection of bird shots -- regardless of what their names are.
