Sky Watch #18

We finally got a little bit of rain last weekend but it was so short lived and didn't look as promising as the clouds over the mountains when I went up to Azusa Canyon.

Nice angry clouds. We need rain, need I say over and over?

We're having a November heating up this next few days, how about you?

Happy weekend.

Great photos as always. I like that you paid tribute to the Veterans on Tuesday, to many take that day and other for granted when it comes to our military.

Mean moody and dramatic.

Aha! Proof that the sky over California is not always sunny. ;-) Only kidding. Glad you finally got some rain.

Happy Sky Watch!

That's a pretty grim looking sky. Too bad it was all talk. Here in NC, we know how that goes... 2007 and early 2008 we had a record shattering drought that we're still recovering from.

Not fun.

Nice photos.
I especially like how the light sky mimics the dark foreground in the second image.
Getting warmer here for the weekend.

Wow. Such drama! The clouds feel as if they might be made of soft silvery mohair.

Great capture!
