Today's Flower #16

I haven't a clue what these are. They were just all this tall, thick plant as I walked through the arboretum. I thought they were rretty and the colors reminded me of a Tequila Sunrise.

Thanks you guys! :-) I would have thought so too but they were really small and none of them were open any larger than the ones pictured but maybe I caught them before fully bloomed.

I go with those who suggested hibiscus. We have some growing in our garden. Growing up, I used to give the flowers to my California iguanas for a treat.

Beautiful shots. The plant is actually Abutilon, common names 'flowering maple, chinese bellflower. A very pretty flower.

I have no idea on the flower, either. It is gorgeous. I know it's not a hibuscus, but a Abutilon?, could be.
