Ports O'Call

Just a few more pictures from my last trip to the beach. The first is a statue that greets you at the entrance.


This is just one of the many boats docked there.


And this is one of the star fish I saw as I was standing at the railing looking at the boats. I've never seen star fish except at the aquarium so I thought it was pretty awesome to see this just hanging out at the edge of the water.

That starfish IS awesome! I don't think I've seen one at all outside an aquarium, let alone one this big.

Fun statue. The star fish is, well, almost creepy to me...looks like some item drowning... neat capture, though.

That looks like a pretty good-sized starfish. Your top photo reminds me of a famous statue in Massachusetts called "The Fisherman of Gloucester."
