Monochrome Maniacs - Foggy Morning

Today is Memorial Day when our country remembers and pay tribute to those in the military service who died while in the military service. Just wanted to take a moment to mention that. My hat is off to our fallen heroes and the families who beared their loss.

This was taken at Bonelli Park several months ago. I love the effect that fog has in that the photo must focus on what is in the foreground. Nothing in the distance to distract or add to the photo.

Very atmospheric, the fog really makes the mood. Lonely figures on still water.

The fog hanging over the lake is made even more special by those kayaks. Beautiful shot

Lovely. Maybe the mists of Avelon? My photo also includes some mist but much more in the background. Very mysterious...

I love fog! Everything just sort of fades away, leaving the foreground to carry the photo! This one is rather sombre, but I like it!
