Goosey Goosey

This goose was good enough to pose for me. Actually, he was busy preening but I think it make for some great shots. I shared one of them in my My World Tuesday post below.

What a beautiful goose. These shots showed how special and beautiful creature they are.
Thank you so much for the encouragement, I was so down lately because the medication did not seem to be working, last night I prayed for healing. Then I read your message this morning, I was in tears and just so glad that I have a friend like you. You reminds me of my sister and Mom, you and them have the same message. You are a women of faith, faith that can move mountains. I have to feel better because I will be hosting 8 people this weekend, they are coming for my sisters wedding; I need to clean the house, last night it was almost midnight when I and hubby finish our chores.
Having a friend like you is a blessing. Hope you have a wonderful week. I dont think I am going to post anything until next week when I fully recover.

Lots and lots of hugs,
Tess

Glad I scrolled down and saw the goose. The contortions they go through when preening is fascinating.

Oh thank you for participating in Nature Notes meme. This is a perfect post. I love this white goose, I wonder if it's a female as our neighborhood domestic goose lost his companion. You got some beautiful shots. It makes you wonder who they keep those feather so white...@:}

Did you get really close, or were you using a long lens? Looks like you were right in her (his?) face! Great job.

What a gorgeous goose!! I like the first shot best, where he is against the water and tree! But the shots of him preening hightlight different areas of the feathers, so they are lovely and interesting in another way!
