Watery Wednesday #25

I'm sorry I've been a little neglect but I've been so busy. I love the memes I've been participating in but I realize I've been spending way too much time on the computer and I've been trying to catch up with my real life. :-D I will at the minimum keep up with my Watery Wednesday and do other posting when I can.

In the meantime, get out those galoshes and let's get cyber wet! If you want to see some water shots from all over the world make sure you click on the icon below and hopefully the little visual splashes will encourage you to dive in.

I call this one dirty water. It's not a pretty shot but it sure shows how bad this lake at the Descansco Gardens looked up close after one of the rains we had.

I like that you showed something dirty; not everything is clean and attractive you know.

Glad you started this meme. I feel the same way, I am doing way too many meme (I am enjoying it) which leave very little time for real life and living :)

Noticed the fish.So it can't be the water can't be that dirty.Neat shot!

Makes a beautiful photo though.

Same here, seems like my day isn't complete if I don't get to blog or blog hop. Huhuhuhu... though I've set thursday as my blogging off, still I have to set another day off for that, to get into real world.

Fasincating shot, I like it. I hope ducky's name isn't Jonah, that fish is huge ;)

That fish is a little bif for that little duck, huh? Good pic!!

I agree, huge fish, little duck. I also am glad that you are doing this meme. It's one of my favorites and I also spend WAY too much time on the computer.

Great shot of the fish and duck! Yes, the water does not look like the kind into which one would want to plunge.

I do not care if the water is a little dirty - that is a great shot! But I don't think I would like to swim in that water.....

Thank you so much again for alerting me to the fact the my link was incorrectly copied. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

Wow what a big fish! I'm with Chris and Jon in that it can't be all that dirty. That fish has enough oxygen to grow that big and look I see little ducky feet under there. :)

Mines on my photoblog this week: Carletta’s Captures.

Welcome to the real world. But I like the big fish. It's huge.

Hmmm - must be 'something going around' because, like you, I've had to cut way back on my blogging and photo meme participation -- so don't feel bad!!

I have to say, I feel a bit sorry for that fishy, but like Carletta said, he has managed to grow to a pretty big size, so I'm sure he'll survive3 until the gunk in the water settles out again.

Are those catfish swimming below that duck? Poor duck. Doesn't look like he minds the dirty water to much. =) Hope you have a great wednesday.

Great shot! Blogging does have a way of taking over our lives :-) I don't blame you for cutting back. Sometimes I think all I do is sit at the computer and I don't like that! I love everyone's blogs, but prefer living real life. Have to find a balance!

Even though the water may be dirty, it certainly adds wonderful color to your shot. I really like this. It looks like a watercolor painting. Hopefully the debris will filter out somehow and the water will become clear again...although more rain is on its way up here. Take care and hope you can catch up with your life!

That is a big fish. I wonder why he is so close to the duck. Cute picture.

The fish looks so funny under that dirt but it must not feel too good. Fish and bird existing together so peacefully is so surprising.

Tarolino said...

True. Quite dirty. But what an amazing opportunity for a unique shot. A fish and a bird side by side at the surface. Now this is what I call awesome. You saw these for a nano second and coldly pressed the trigger and got a sharp shot. Now how good is that?

Wow, what a cool shot! Love it!
