The kois really grow so big for an ornamental fish, I thought. I love them a lot, though.

In response to your question about the river's color from my post, yes that's the true color of water, but it changes in color from that to a muddy one to a toothpaste color along its course.

Koi! That's one thing I didn't get a picture of at Shaw's Garden - I got about everything else, but not the Koi! Well, I'll be going back soon, so I'll get it then! LoL! Great shots - they're so colorful!!!

These coy are always wonderful to have in a ond in the garden. They get so tame eventually that they will come up and allow you to touch them. :)

Beautiful...I tried to get shots of the koi in the pond at the Japanese Garden I visited, but the water was a bit murky. Your shots are so clear. Terrific...
