I wasn't expecting to post this much today so if you're looking for my Mellow Yellow and Today's Flowers posts they're below this one.
I'm sharing two black and whites this week that are completely unrelated to each other but I couldn't decide which one to post.

Very nice photos. I liked how you processed them...
The pelican looks excellent in B&W. Great shot.
the photo of the rose is just gorgeous. i love how you framed it. have a great week ahead.
It was worth putting both shots up.
I especially like like the bird one because of the shapes and texture, But the petals on the flower are lovely and velvety.
They are both perfect, with different qualities...
I love the monochrome on the pelican close. The details are so sharp.
Your previous color images of the flowers are beautiful since flowers are designed to showcase their beauty in color.
Love the tones and textures - these tones are unique and well taken.
Both are excellent but I am drawn to the bird which is perect.
They go so well together with similar kind of forms that they now belong together.
I like both photos, but my favourite is the pelican! I think that is an exquisite close-up!
I know exactly what you mean about having two shots you can't decide between. Usually when that happens I just schedule one of them for later, but sometimes it just won't wait!
I'd have a hard time choosing between these myself. So I might have just thrown them both into a single post too! Sometimes you just gotta.
Great work!
Lovely monochromes both
When I saw the 1st photo on my blog roll, I thought it was an ocean wave w/ eyes! hehehe! Then I opened your page & saw that it's a bird! I was pleasantly relieved! LoL!
They're both great shots, I wouldn't have been able to choose either!
They are so different but both are beautiful shots.
That pelican picture is wonderful. The rose is nice too!
Both are beautiful!
Like them both but the top one is the more favored because of the studied patience of the big fellow. (Like the top 'fallen tree' photo as well.)
Very beautiful! I like how you focused on the eye of the bird in the first photo.
