Little Ladybug - RSABG #1

My first post about my visit to Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Gardens yesterday. I was surprised at how many ladybugs were out yesterday. They were everywhere and I found myself ducking a few that were flying across the path I was walking.

I don't know if those are the same ones, but when we started noticing an abundant amount of ladybugs in our area in SE Mo, we found out that the government brought them over here from Germany because they're about the only thing that kills the larvae that's killing a certain type of tree. We also noticed that while they're really pretty, this ladybug STINKS! I don't know what it is about them, but they stink!

But these are really pretty shots of them!

I just noticed in the 1st photo that the white dots look like eyes - I wonder if it is. How cool!

Great macro shots of the ladybug. I've not seen a ladybug for a real long time anywhere near me :(
Pretty like insects :)
