Watery Wednesday #33

I hope I haven't posted this shot already. I took this up at the lake at Bonelli Park. There are always people fishing at spots all around the lake. I can't say that I've ever seen anyone catch any. Although, I did ask this man once if he'd caught anything. He pulled out his cellphone and showed me a shot of the one he caught. It was a small fish and he had a cigarette beside it to show the size of this whopper. It wasn't as long as the cigarette. We both had a good laugh.

If you haven't already done so, pull out those water shots and go get those eyes wet!

I don't see very many successful catches, either, when I'm out and about. I think fishermen are just optimist.

At least he wa honest! Most men I know don't have long enough arms to describe their big catch! :)

Funny story. Like the picture. he's out there to enjoy thew fresh air and seems having a rod in his hand is a good way of doing it.

Goes to show you it's the process, not the product, that's important sometimes. Funny story.

I love the humour of your story. lol. Nice watery park to catch fish. Did you ask the man if he kissed the lil fish before he threw it back to the wota? (lol)

Looks like he could catch a duck easier than a fish:)
Thanks for hosting Watery Wednesday, Sweetthing!

How nice to meet an honest fisherman! I enjoyed this post.

Well, at least he was honest. And the way I look at this shot, the guy has a good foot balance because it looks like the rock is uneven. Funny, my post is about two guys gone fishing.

So cell phones DO come in handy sometimes!! LOL!!

I gave up fishing - found it excruciatingly boring. I preferred walking with camera and binoculars.

I think fishermen get more fun trying then worrying about catching :-) Great shot!

I enjoyed your little anecdote to go with the picture! He had a good sense of humor. Thanks for doing Watery Wednesday, one of my favorite memes. I don't always have a good water shot, but I love seeing everyone's watery photos.

I'd love to try fishing here though I'm not as good as my partner, but then being on the waterside is more than fun for me, no matter what I do fishing or not. Thanks for hosting this great meme.

I love this place, just not the smell of ducks you get before your arrival. I like the shot of this guy he looks content.... I am always too afraid to take peoples pictures, I really should work on that.
I hope all is well with you.

Love the shot. Looks like it should be in a travel brochure.
